meet me here for lunch, she said. okay I said.wow had the moo shu pork. wow loved it. Ive been getting moo shu pork from the wrong place , all these years. the crab Rangoon was delish too. I'll definately be back with the family. Thanks Kathy....

Delicious food! I've been coming here for years and it never changes, consistently good food. The sushi is always fresh. The prices are low to moderate. It is a clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere.

Never had a bad experience here, and the owner is such a nice man. Would highly recommend eating here.

Done been going there for three years and it's my top pick for Chinese food in the area. It's quality. They don't cut corners or try to stretch the meat like a lot of other places. The sushi's great too. Just figured it's about time I give them recognition.

First time going there i was visiting my Dad in Connecticut and on the way home to New York we stopped by the food was delicious and everything tasted fresh my husband loved it we will stop by again I recommend the place

Only Chinese place in Southbury besides Sake which is a ripofff. Food is fine but nothing insane. Good for takeout and friendly old man there

Never ordering from here again. We ordered for pick-up. First, it was far more expensive than we were expecting. Second, they nearly killed my mom. She ordered BEEF lo mein, and instead got SHRIMP lo mein. She is severely allergic to shellfish, which includes shrimp. She did not find out that it was shrimp and not beef until she was about to take a bite. This could have killed her.

Great service, excellent food

I go to this great restaurant quite a bit! This is my favorite place to pass a nice evening. I go to this spot regularly. The cooking is excellent, the team is courteous and the rates are reasonable. I enjoy eating in this spot for a rich supper.

This is a staple of the town of Southbury. Been here for many many years. Mr. Lee works the front and has for decades. Open on Christmas! Which is what brought me here this year. Come in, order, have a beer and chat with Mr. Lee. Excellent food at fair prices whether you dine in or take out. Best Asian food in the Southbury area.

Shrimp lomein was excellent.

The staff was very attentive, keeping our hot tea flowing. I enjoyed their Pad Thai. It was quiet when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, but soon filled up.

Convenient stop just off I-84, good sushi and asian Chinese & Japanese food. In a large shopping center but easy to get in and out, park nearby with free parking.

I love the food here! I buy food from OG at least 2 times a month and it never disappoints. They also honor our request to put our food in paper containers so that we do not add to the world's plastic problem.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was our first time going and will certainly be our last, not only was the guy taking orders EXTREMELY rude but the food is terrible. Especially for what we paid for it. $40 for two people for take out? Absolutely ridiculous. We’re house sitting which is the only reason we got food here, our normal place you could feed ten people for $40! Never again. Save your money and go somewhere else. Could have gotten better tasting food at McDolands.

I will never order from you again!!!! Tonight I placed an order to be picked up. Among other items, I ordered beef lo mein and got shrimp lo mein. I'm allergic to shrimp!!!

Strip mall storefront dated inside but authentic Chinese cuisine and sushi bar. Tasty soups, nice variety of tasty entries and quick service. Try the jumbo shrimp Hunan style. Very crisp vegetables, in all dishes and willingness to cook to order are a definite plus.

Not worth the price! I got the beef and broccoli which hardly had beef even paid more extra beef. It was rubbery with hardly any flavor. First time trying never again.

We arrived at this place for dinner. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was great. We loved this spot very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.

Food is ok. Way too expensive. The old man is nice though. The night I went they didn't have any eggrolls. What chinese place runs out of eggrolls? Been once, but have no plans to go back.

It must be a certain day of the week you get the experience.I got their lemon chicken. Diced lemons, big hunks of over cooked chicken and broccoli.I come here all the time, it’s never consistent. I wish I could attach a photo. Very disappointed today.

Once rated in the top 100 sushi restaurants in the country, Oriental Gourmet is now about average compared to other options in the area. Cozy, decent service, closed on Mondays. I come here when it's convenient, but I don't seek it out

Great food, clean and curtious.

I really loved this place. When I was in town I went twice. They have Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese food selections. The staff is really good and friendly. The first time I got shrimp spring rolls, and combination fried rice. There is so much food I had to take home even though I did not want to stop eating it. I also got the egg drop soup. All for less then $25. The second time I got egg drop soup again, crab rangoon (which melt in your mouth), and Pad Thai. Everything was good...you have to go.

Mr. Lee, you mix a mean mai tai! Have 2 and you will go out sideways! lolBest chinese in town...ever!!! Crispy noodles, the big fat ones, love all there soups, spring rolls, scallion pancakes.Excellent specials, delicate flavors and intoxicating sauces (And Mai tai)!!THE BEST!!

Food was good. Service quality and speed was very good. Stopped in for dinner. Hot tea was served/included at no cost, which is a plus since I was going to order tea anyways. The area was cleaned and the decor was okay. I was seated next to the sushi station, which was well kept. The men’s bathroom was clean. Waiter/waitress both frequently checked on me. I would recommend this place. Go give it a try 👍
